В това обучение засегнахме някои от основните теории, свързани с по-широка рамка, наречена теория на обектните отношения. Много повече приноси могат и трябва да бъдат разгледани и те ще бъдат предмет на други книги от тази серия. Надявам се, че сте намерили този преглед за полезен.
Много съвременни теоретици и практици в сферата на обектните отношения, като Кернберг, Болас, Хорнер и Огдън, са разработили и разширили обсъжданите тук пионери. В много отношения настоящият интерес към теорията на привързаността представлява подновен интерес към това до каква степен ранните връзки са от съществено значение за психичното здраве. Надявам се, че този кратък поглед върху основните идеи стоящи зад теориите на обектните отношения ще стимулира постоянния ви интерес.
